JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AREA SALES MANAGER

Expectations:

– Must possesses excellent leadership skills to supervise and conduct sales visits, sales calls, sales presentations and other sales activities.

– Supervises and guides sales representatives and presents the performance of sales representatives to the management.

– Would be responsible to meet his/her personal sales targets and also sales target of sales representatives who are reporting to him/her (Closing deals). Also would generate a daily report on sales and send the same to management in proper format.

– Handling and negotiating rates with clients of all types but not limited to regular clients, corporate clients.

– Successfully gains new customers and retains existing ones.

– Develop customer accounts. 

– Travel within the designated area to drive business and to increase market/customer share and manage the travelling of other sales representatives.

– Is able to organise Sales events, as per the requirement of the company.

– Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner and regulates the professionalism in the sales representatives who are reporting to him/her.

– Is having sound skills in Microsoft Excel, MS Word and MS powerpoint.


Location: Jharkhand

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: ₹16,000.00 – ₹20,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Sales: Minimum 5 years
  • Area sales manager: Minimum 2 years
  • Language: Hindi and English
Qualifications:
BBA, BSC, BCOM, BTECH or higher
